I hear nothing over sports. I can't multitask and I can't remember anything. My wife remembers all. It must be scientific. 'i'm a sport fanatic' lol

btw i guess i could say that my hubs doesn't plan his whole life around it cos he has his kid and work. if he's not talking about his son playing sports, then it's about work, if not work, then it's just about his kid in general. i tune out a lot of crap lmao

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

I would like to go to Dodger Stadium in order to see that relaxed feeling. My current husband would rather watch an old movie or a documentary. I don't remember his watching an entire football game, not even the Super Bowl when the home team won, in 25 years of marriage. He cooks dinner, too.

No, I will not trade him for anyone's football-loving hunk.

Find my Flash 55 for this week HERE.

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

hi, ate ciara! maybe you'd want to meet my bf. he really stops and makes time to listen to any1 even if he's in the middle of something. haha.

well written, as always! :D

happy weekend!

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

I will be the first to admit, I have been a version of the similar talked about DB that you described. When something doesn't go how it was planned, I have been know to be a little on the inflexible side in relaxing and going with the flow. Of course, I have excuses and reasons why the plans can't be altered, but that's all they are is excuses. I'm working on it. As for midwesterners, we do wear our colors- that's for sure. Some sports events are almost like a holiday. The family meets in front of the game on TV and together it becomes a family event. I think that this is ok as long as your life doesn't revolve completely around it, making sure to have a variety of family events that don't revolve around the TV.-Jason

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

glad your alma mater won...lot of weirdos come from indiana haha no offense
to indiana, but i just know a few ;0)

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

In fact ...I just got back from the mich vs Indiana game...Mich wins...Go
Blue!!

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

haha @ cali is cali...not to me. i'm a big time southern cali girl. so cal is relaxed, nor cal a lil more uptight but definitely artsy (well, at least san francisco is better...everyone around here where i live are too conservative for me lol)

hey, not everyone likes football and that's o.k.! i like it, but if it were to disappear today, i wouldn't be crying over it like a lot of people would lol thx for stopping by :0)

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

i gotta follow good blogs ya know :0) thx for stopping by and commenting on my 55.

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

football is life? lol i guess in mostly a man's world, right?? i love to watch football, but i can survive without it ;0)

enjoy the weekend, g.

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

don't get me wrong, i love men.......MOST of the time lol ;0) visiting your 55 now.

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

haha @ HAD a husband like that. sometimes he can be a pita, but for the rest of time, he's actually o.k. ;0) lol heading over right now to check out your 55.

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

hey, so maybe i do know ONE man who can multitask ;0)

Re: FF-59 and Fatherhood Friday #22

aWWWW, after reading this, I really really miss my home state...Cali...north or south, no matter...Cali is Cali...football? sorry, gets lost on me LOL..but I do know of what you speak...so, thanks!
